Marine Corps Support
The Marine Corps Support Systems is a group of one of the most elite services that support this branch of the Military. CSC Site Manager Gary Hayes and Director Clint Swett head this award-winning group. CMM Rated Level 4 MCTFS and its associated systems were selected as a Top 5 DoD Program for 2004. MCTFS was also selected Winner, Second Place, of the 2005 DoD CIO Team Award. This specific award recognizes outstanding achievement in several key aspects of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, having significant positive impact in the Department of Defense. SABRS received the Financial Management Systems Improvement Award in 2003. IAD achieved the NROWS and TFAS Department of Navy eGov Award, December of 2003.

Marine PFT’S

Marine Physical Fitness Tests are conducted twice a year and consist of 100 crunches performed in a 2 minute time period, 20 pull ups or 70 seconds “flex arm hang” and a timed three mile run.

Marine Corps Marathon

The Marine Corps Marathon is held every October in Washington DC. Our area boasts a number of runners that train throughout the year and participate in this event.
